As with all TIE designs, the standardised cockpit is located in the middle of the ship and is connected to the solar wings by means of brackets. Thanks to the transparent cockpit surfaces, the TIE offers better all-round visibility than other hunters. The TIE is armed with fixed, double laser cannons.
