Revell Focke Wulf Fw190 F-8, 1:72

After the Bf 109, the Fw 190 was the second standard fighter for the German Air Force. The aircraft turned out to be versatile and very robust. The heavy fighter bomber Fw190 F-8 was manufactured in large numbers from the beginning of 1944. The F series was specially developed in 1943 for the ground attack role. A bomb load of 700 kg could be carried at five external attachment points. The fuselage armour and wing spars in the area of the main landing gear were reinforced, otherwise, the F-8 corresponded to the A-8 fighter plane version. After the start of mass production, a new propeller with wooden blades and a bubble-shaped canopy with reinforced head protection were installed on the F-8. From the beginning of 1944 until the end of the war, more than 6,500 Fw190 A-8 and F-8 versions were delivered.
